OUR TEAM

Our team of dedicated health professionals are here to serve you. We combine extensive knowledge in the field of chiropractic medicine with a passion for helping people feel better. It is our goal to create a friendly and professional atmosphere that you can rely on for all of your chiropractic needs.

We are Drs. Brown and Fabiola Hamer of Atlas Chiropractic. Our office is located on McKinney Ave. in Uptown Dallas between Worthington and Allen St. We have been practicing since 2003. We believe that wellness is a choice to assume responsibility for the quality of your life. It begins with a conscious decision to shape a healthy lifestyle, and not just a short-term diet for pain relief. Wellness is a mindset, a predisposition to adopt a series of key principles in varied life areas that lead to high levels of well-being and life satisfaction.

Fabiola Marquez Hamer – Business Manager

Fabi Hamer graduated from Texas Tech University with a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition in 1997. Like her husband, Dr. Brown Hamer III, she also continued her education at Parker University (formerly Parker College of Chiropractic) and graduated in January of 2003.

I discovered the benefits of chiropractic care after months of nagging, stabbing pain in my chest and upper back that several medical doctors couldn’t find the cause to and prescribed pain medications and even antibiotics. Then my neighbor, a student/intern at Parker College of Chiropractic adjusted my spine and found the cause of my pain was coming from a subluxated rib. From that point on, the pain was gone, and about a year after that, I was attending Parker College.

While at Parker, I discovered that I have a broken vertebrae in my lower back. I believe I am a true testament to the healing power of chiropractic care. I was told I would need surgery, and that by the looks of my MRI, I shouldn’t be walking! Thankfully, I can not only walk, but I can run and jump and dance too, all because my chiropractor (my husband) keeps me healthy with muscular therapies and spinal adjustments. Sadly, I am not able to work on patients anymore because of my injuries, so I run the business side of our practice.

Dr. Brown M. Hamer III – Chiropractor

Dr. Hamer graduated from Louisiana State University in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in Microbiology. He received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Parker University, graduating in January of 2003.

My interest in chiropractic began at an early age, as my father was a chiropractor for 25 years. In fact, I had my first adjustment when I was 2 days old. I am fortunate to have a rich family history in chiropractic as my wife, brother, Uncle, sister-in-law, and Godfather all were/are chiropractors.

I use my lifelong experience to help my patients understand their health. I strive to make the treatment individualized to each patient. I pride myself on getting patients well and out of pain as soon as possible and keeping them that way.

Dr. Jason Guin – Associate Chiropractor

Dr. Jason Guin earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Abilene Christian University in 2019. While studying for his undergraduate degree, Dr. Guin began a summer internship with a local Chiropractor. With this opportunity he was able to see first hand the effectiveness of chiropractic treatment and how patients achieved their goals with optimal function and performance.

In the fall of 2019, Dr. Guin began studying at Parker University for his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He completed his last clinical internship under Dr. Hamer here at Atlas Chiropractic and received the 2022 Clinical Excellence Award from Parker University. Dr. Guin graduated from Parker in December of 2022 and began working at Atlas Chiropractic in January of 2023.

Dr. Guin loves to help patients decrease their pain and increase their function with chiropractic care. Outside of the clinic you can find him enjoying time with his family and spending time outdoors with his wife Megan, and labrador retriever Jet.
